I love Challah and wish my mom made it more often. But at least I can order it online. It's so delicious!

I definitely think it's improtnat to uphold Jewish traditions. I always try to send my grandparents a Rosh Hashana gift basket, or at least a little something that reminds them that I appreciate my Jewish roots

I definitely agree with the notion not to budge from your original budget. Those kids can be persuasive and the price can become extravagant all too quickly! Make a plan and stick with it!

That's a funny story. It's great that kids will eat things that aren't filled with sugar. I should try that more often. I have a feeling it won't go off as well at my house, though. Anyway, the honey cake recipe sounds delicious, I'd love to try it. Maybe I could make it for my own Rosh Hashana celebrations. I love that you're upholding the Jewish tradition even on Memorial Day. Cheers!

What a funny, clever article. This student has shown what Judaism has come to exist as and mean in popular American culture. Some may take offense to the simplicity of the article, but she obviously understands true Jewish tradition and we should all be able to have a laugh at ourselves at one time or another!

I think people have discovered that Challah is great tasting bread, a good healthy alternative to whole wheat and white. It is especially delicious when made as French Toast.
